Teachers Wanted
Gwen Bitter for the Citrus Chronicle reports on a shortage of teachers impacting Citrus County. The challenge is not one facing only Citrus. This is an issue that is effecting school districts all around the state of Florida and our great nation. Bitter reports, “Teacher shortages are not a new concept, but lately instructor areas which don’t usually see shortages have been in decline. Elementary education, a popular study area in the past, is not seeing the high number of graduates it once used to.”
