Citrus Schools gets thumbs up in audit
The Florida Auditor General completed its annual Financial and Federal Single Audit of the Citrus County School District. The audit report is to describe the scope of the Auditor General’s testing of Citrus Schools internal controls and compliance and to provide opinions of the effectiveness of the Districts internal controls and compliance.
I am pleased to share that once again Citrus County Schools received to positive report where the Auditor General report stated, “Our audit did not identify any deficiencies in internal control over financial reporting that we consider to be material weaknesses”.
