Phil Royal Remembered: Forever in Our Hearts
Today, we pause to honor and remember a remarkable individual in our community, Phil Royal. His legacy is deeply woven into the fabric of our community and schools. I feel incredibly fortunate to have known Phil and to have shared in his vision for our community and education. One of his lasting contributions is the Emergency Medical Technician program at the Crystal River High School Academy of Health Careers. Now named the “Phil Royal EMT Program,” this initiative continues to provide life-saving training and career opportunities for our students, serving our community, state, and country.
