Honoring The Dream on MLK Day

Honoring The Dream on MLK Day

Today is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day and I encourage you to take time to recall the message he conveyed at his August 1963 “I Have A Dream” speech and think about if we’re there yet:

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. (My Lord) I have a dream today.”

Here is a short video of this great speech: https://youtu.be/vP4iY1TtS3s

“The function of education, therefore, is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.” -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (“The Purpose of Education” [1947])
