CRHS & LHS headed to state swim meets in Orlando

Lecanto's Jake Tamposi, above, and Crystal River's Malachi Oakes competed against each other in the freestyle at the Terra Vista Aquatic Center earlier this season. They'll both be representing their respective school's at the state swim meets in Orlando this week. Tamposi enters as the regional champ in the 100 breast and Oakes will swim the 100 and 200 free.
Crystal River, a Lady Pirate diver and a lone ranger from Lecanto to follow in their footsteps.
The county will be represented strongest by Crystal River’s Malachi Oakes and Lecanto’s Jake Tamposi, who made rewriting the history books almost a daily occurrence this fall.
