Citrus Springs Elementary School 25th Anniversary Celebration
Citrus Springs Elementary School on Thursday, March 20th, 2011 , celebrated their 25th Anniversary since opening in 1986 (see video below). All the past principals were present. At the celebration the school, along with the help of Lecanto High School cheerleaders, revealed the new CSES mascot, “The HAWK”! The Hawk was a great choice as it combines the spirit of the previous mascot and complements the middle school’s Falcon mascot. In addition , the CSE announced it would be bringing back the school’s colors and motto: “Kids Zone – Enter with Care & Love“.
At the celebration a new “Wall of Principals” was unveiled. Complete with pictures of all the principal past and present. After the celebration the school provided a wonderful potluck lunch for its guests. It was a wonderful day. GO HAWKS!!!
