Up, Up and Away!
Once again Citrus educator Christina Hackey and her students “blast off” their model rockets for the ‘Rocketman Competition‘ sponsored by The Christa McAuliffe Educational Outreach Program. This event is a join effort through funding provided by the Citrus County Education Foundation and the Citrus Springs Elementary Parent Teacher Organization.
This is another of those great actives that I am honored to participate in, and again this year I had the chance to judge the final round of rocket launches. Ms. Hackey does a super job providing this STEM opportunity for our students. I am already looking forward to next year.
