LPS Visit

LPS Visit

It is always great spending time in our schools. I love touring our classrooms. During a school visit today at Lecanto Primary School they have a couple of special ways they are showing their appreciation to their teachers and staff.

One is that they cut out red hearts that are put on the doors of the teachers’ classrooms and other staff members leave random kind notes of encouragement and praise for that teacher.

The second was an idea that came from students who wanted to provide their teachers with a special breakfast to start each day. With the funding help of the LPS Parent Teach Organization (PTO) the students decorated a cart and filled it with morning snacks and goodies that the students bring around to the teachers. What a great student initiative!
