ChronicleOnline: Local high school bands link up for inauguration
All three of Citrus County’s public high school marching bands participated Tuesday in the inaugural parade in Tallahassee in honor of Gov. Rick Scott.
Aaron Woodfin, Lecanto High School’s band director, said the parade traveled from the governor’s mansion to the Old Capitol. The school district paid for four charter buses to take the group — including about 160 students plus chaperones — to Tallahassee.
